Issue

  • How to configure backup in a non-production environment

  • Liferay PaaS

Resolution

  • The Service Update 2021-25-1 to the backup image introduces the ability for users to create backups from non-production environments. Updating the LCP.json file with the latest image for backup service(under backup folder) and doing the deployment would help.
  • Determining how frequently backups are created and removed can help protect your data and optimize storage. Please refer to the Scheduling Automated Backups and Cleanups for the same.
