Disable all locales that are not EN

Issue

  • Asset publishers are being translated to other languages than English which is the default and only one that is desired. For some reason due to the location of the IP/network or browser translation URLs are appended with some locales like FI, ES, and others.

Environment

  • Liferay DXP 7.2

Resolution

  1. Navigate to the Control Panel → Configuration.
  2. Click Instance Settings.
  3. Click on the Miscellaneous tab.
  4. Here you can configure the default and available languages in Instance Settings.
  5. Remove all available languages from "Current" to "Available" besides English.
