  • Although this documentation explains Setting Up the Patching Tool in Weblogic, here are the easy steps
    1. Check theliferay.homefromportal-setup-wizard.propertiesand unzip the latest patching tool there.
    2. Inside thepatching-tooldirectory open the terminal and run./patching-tool.sh auto-discovery
      patching.png
    3. Create a new filedefault.propertiesinside thepatching-tooldirectory and add the output of./patching-tool.sh auto-discoverycommand
      default.properties.png
    4. In the same terminal, run the./patching-tool.sh infoto confirm the changes

    Sampledefault.propertiesshould look like the below, however, it differs based on the installation
    global.lib.path=../servers/AdminServer/tmp/WLuser/liferay-dxp-7.4.13.u25-20220517155936227/qm5lvw/war/WEB-INF/shielded-container-lib/
    war.path=../servers/AdminServer/tmp/WLuser/liferay-dxp-7.4.13.u25-20220517155936227/qm5lvw/war/
