Issue

  • Regarding the vulnerability in Apache tomcat regarding sending unprotected credentials ( CVE-2023-28708), does it affect Liferay?

Environment

  • DXP 7.3+

solution

  • There is no direct impact on Liferay due to the vulnerability in Tomcat itself.
  • Please consider updating to the following Tomcat version if necessary.

  • Apache Tomcat 11.0.0-M3 or later

  • Apache Tomcat 10.1.6 or later

  • Apache Tomcat 9.0.72 or later

  • Apache Tomcat 8.5.86 or later
