You can manage existing spaces in the CMS by deleting them or connecting them to sites.
To create spaces, adjust their settings, or add members, see:
Navigating to a Space
There are several ways to open a space, depending on where you are in the UI.
-
Open the Global Menu (
) and click CMS (1). -
If the space appears in the shortcuts list of recently modified spaces (2) on the right side of the Global Menu (
), select it to go directly to its overview. -
If you are already in CMS, select the space from the Spaces section in the sidebar (3) or click All Spaces (4) to browse and select the space.

The All Spaces section shows only the spaces available to you.

Pin a space to keep it always visible at the top of the Spaces section in the sidebar. Go to All Spaces, click Actions (
) next to the space you want to pin, and select Pin to Product Menu (
).
Deleting a Space
Space admins can delete a space when it’s no longer needed. Deleting a space permanently removes all content, files, and site connections, and any content shared with other spaces becomes inaccessible.
To delete a space,
-
Open the space you want to configure.
 -
In the space overview, click Actions (
) next to the space name (1), and select Delete. -
Alternatively, navigate to All Spaces, click Actions (
) for the space you want to configure (2), and select Delete.
 -
Confirm the deletion in the warning dialog.

This action is irreversible. Back up or migrate any critical content before deleting the space.
Connecting Sites
Connecting a space to one or more sites makes its content available within those sites, and you can disconnect sites whenever you want to revoke access.
Viewing Connected Sites
-
Open the space you want to configure.
 -
In the space overview, click View All Sites in the Sites section.
 -
Alternatively, navigate to All Spaces, click Actions (
) for the space you want to configure, and select View Sites.
Connecting a Space to a Site
-
Select a site from the list and click Connect.

The site now appears in the Connected Sites list.

Disconnecting a Space from a Site
-
Click Actions (
) for the site you want to disconnect and select Disconnect.
The site is removed from the Connected Sites list.
Disconnecting a site immediately removes access to the space’s content from that site.
Controlling Search Visibility
Each connected site includes a searchable content setting:
-
Make Unsearchable – hides the space’s content from the site’s search results but keeps it accessible through direct links or embeds.
 -
Make Searchable – makes it visible in site search results.

To change search visibility,
-
Click Actions (
) for the connected site you want to configure. -
Alternatively, navigate to the space overview and click Actions (
) next to the connected site. -
Select Make Unsearchable or Make Searchable, depending on the current state.
